What We Believe

We believe that this world belongs to God.

God created this world good and perfect. He created people to live in this world in fellowship with him. Long ago, however, the people that God created rebelled against him, and this good and perfect world became a broken, messed-up place. The good news is that God never stopped loving his world and promised that the day would come that he would reclaim this world as his own.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of God’s Promise…

...that he came to suffer, die on a cross, and rise again in triumph over Satan and sin. It is only in Jesus that we can find the true life that God would have for us. Today, Jesus is in heaven where he has authority over all things. Someday, Jesus will return to this world as King.

We Believe in the holy Spirit…

that he is at work throughout the world today, moving people of every nation to faith in Jesus. He is at work in his people – empowering us for ministry, nurturing in us the characteristics of Jesus.

We Believe that The Bible is the authoritative Word of God.

It contains all that people in any age need to know for their salvation. We call the Bible God’s Word, believing that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God speaks to us through this book.

We believe in the church.

It is the fellowship of all who confess Jesus as Savior and Lord. We are forgiven sinners, called to be holy, and dedicated to joyful service.
